MingleIn is an online platform where anyone in our community can teach a Workshop, share their passion with like-minded people, and earn a fair income from doing it. We’re building it in Melbourne, for Australia first, the world after.

Why we exist

The internet is filling up with content made by nobody, for nobody.

Algorithms writing recipes. Synthetic voices teaching pottery. AI-generated “courses” sold by people who’ve never touched the subject. We watched this happen and decided to build the opposite.

MingleIn began in a lockdown kitchen, watching kids struggle to learn through a screen, and watching friends rediscover themselves through Workshops taught by real people with real hands and real stories. What made it work wasn’t the technology. It was the human at the other end.

What we’re building

An online experience platform for shared passion.

MingleIn is an online community where Hosts publish pre-recorded Workshop videos and Buyers purchase 90 days of access to watch them. Around that simple commerce model we’ve built the things we wished other platforms had:

Watch Parties, Workshops as occasions, not just videos

Anyone who’s bought a Workshop can invite up to 10 friends to watch it together at a time they pick. Each friend buys their own seat at full price. The organiser earns 5% on every seat as a thank-you for setting it up. It turns a video purchase into an evening worth showing up for. How Watch Parties work →

Boasts, your Members do the marketing for you

When a Buyer finishes a Workshop, they share what they made, a photo or a short video, as a Boast on MingleIn. Other browsers see real-world results from real people; the Workshop’s social proof grows every time someone completes it.

The 50/50 split

You set your price. We split it 50/50. Skillshare pays creators around 25–30% of effective revenue. We pay 50%, with no exclusivity clauses, no tiers, and no monthly grind. If you want to host →

MingleIn started in my lockdown kitchen, watching my kids struggle to learn through a screen. The platforms we tried felt cold, algorithms, ad pennies, content for the sake of content. The Workshops that actually worked were the ones taught by real people sharing something they loved. So I started building MingleIn to put that experience first.
