How we protect everyone
on MingleIn.
The platform only works if Buyers can trust they’re learning from real experts, Hosts can trust they’ll be paid fairly, and everyone can trust their data and money are handled responsibly. Here’s how we make all three real.
Six things we do to protect the platform.
Each policy below is a commitment we hold ourselves to. Click into any of them for the detail, what the rule is, how we enforce it, and what to do if something goes wrong.
The AI policy
Every Workshop on MingleIn is taught by a real human with real expertise. AI-generated content, synthetic voices, deepfakes, and bot-generated reviews are banned by platform rule. We use AI behind the scenes for admin (drafting descriptions, summarising reviews) but never for the teaching itself.
Read the full AI policy →Watch Parties are private
Watch Parties on MingleIn are invite-only group viewings. Only the people the organiser invites can see or join a party, there's no public listing of upcoming parties anywhere on the site. We do not surface, sell or share invite lists with any third party.
How Watch Parties work →Content moderation
We don't host harmful, illegal or grossly offensive content. Workshops are reviewed before publishing during the early Host phase, and post-launch our community can flag any Workshop that breaches platform standards. Repeated breaches mean an account is closed.
Report a Workshop →Refunds & dispute resolution
If a Workshop isn't substantially as described, or a Watch Party can't run because the organiser didn't show, we'll process a refund. Our dispute process is documented in the Terms of Service and we settle most issues within 14 days.
Refund & dispute terms →Payment security
We do not store your payment details. All payments are processed by Stripe, via Stripe Connect, a PCI-DSS compliant payment platform with its own published security standards. MingleIn only sees the transaction outcome, never your card number.
Privacy policy →Reporting violations
Spotted something that breaks the rules, an AI-generated Workshop, a fake Boast, a Host behaving badly, or a privacy concern? Tell us. Reports are reviewed by our team and we communicate outcomes back to the reporting user where appropriate.
How to report →How to tell us something is wrong.
Any user can report any Workshop, Boast or Host that they suspect breaches our policies. We review every report and act on it quickly.
See a Workshop that breaches the rules?
Use the Flag this Workshop button on any Workshop page (coming with launch). Or email us directly any time, we read every message and respond personally.
Independent escalation paths.
If you’ve raised a concern with us and you aren’t satisfied with how we handled it, you have the right to escalate. We support that, these are the relevant Australian regulators for the kinds of issues that come up on a platform like ours.
