By registering on minglein.com.au or otherwise using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
MingleIn operates a marketplace and social networking platform in the form of the Website that enables Users to connect and engage directly with each other for the provision of pre-recorded Workshops. Registered Users can advertise Workshops for other Users to search, purchase and watch via the Website. MingleIn provides the Website and associated Services only and is not the advertiser, promoter or supplier of any Workshop appearing on the Website.
Registered Users who sell Workshops (Hosts) are wholly responsible for the provision, delivery and performance of the Workshops they list, including complying with all applicable laws.
1Definitions
- Account
- A user account registered on the MingleIn Website.
- Agreement
- These Terms of Service together with the Privacy Policy.
- Boast
- A user-generated post (photo or video) shared on MingleIn that demonstrates the work a Buyer produced after completing a Workshop.
- Buyer
- A registered User who purchases a Workshop, or a seat in a Watch Party, on the Website.
- Host
- A registered User who lists, sells and provides Workshops on the Website.
- Host Funds
- The 50% share of Workshop Sale revenue payable to the Host.
- Services
- The Website together with any of MingleIn's services made available on the Website.
- User
- Any person who accesses or uses the Website, whether registered or not.
- Watch Party
- A scheduled, invite-only group viewing of a Workshop organised by a Buyer who already owns the Workshop.
- Watch Party Organiser
- A Buyer who schedules a Watch Party and invites other Users to attend.
- Workshop
- A pre-recorded video Workshop listed for sale on the Website by a Host.
2General
These Terms govern your use of the Services. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3Licence to use the Website and Services
MingleIn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
4Buyers
This section sets out the rights and obligations of Buyers when purchasing Workshops or Watch Party seats.
4.190-day access to purchased Workshops
When you purchase a Workshop, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view that Workshop within your MingleIn library for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Renewing access requires a new purchase.
4.2Watch Party seats
When you purchase a seat in a Watch Party (whether as the Organiser or as an invited attendee), you receive 90 days of access to the underlying Workshop from the date of seat purchase, on the same terms as a standalone Workshop purchase.
5Hosts
This section sets out the rights and obligations of Hosts when listing and selling Workshops on the Website.
5.1Authenticity declaration at upload
Each time you upload a Workshop, you must complete the Host Declaration set out in clause 17.5 confirming that the Workshop is taught by you personally, based on your own skills and experience, and is not AI-generated.
5.250% revenue share
You are entitled to receive Host Funds equal to 50% of the gross sale price of each Workshop sold (and each Watch Party seat sold), less any payment processing fees deducted by third-party payment platforms.
6Fees & Payment
This section sets out how Workshop Sales are processed, how Host Funds are calculated and disbursed, and how Watch Party Organiser commissions are paid.
6.1Watch Party Organiser commission
A Watch Party Organiser is entitled to a 5% commission on each invited seat sold to attendees of their Watch Party. The commission is credited to the Organiser’s MingleIn Earnings at the point of seat purchase. The Organiser is not entitled to commission on their own seat (for which they pay the standard Workshop price) and is not entitled to commission for invited Users who already own the Workshop and join the Watch Party for free.

17Content Authenticity and Use of Artificial Intelligence
17.1Our commitment
MingleIn is a platform for Workshops created, recorded and taught by real humans using their own skills and expertise. By listing a Workshop on MingleIn, you agree to the rules in this section. These rules protect Buyers, the MingleIn community, and the integrity of every Host on the platform.
17.2Prohibited content (Red Zone)
You must not upload, list, promote or sell any Workshop that:
- uses artificial intelligence to generate the instructional content, including scripts, demonstrations, voice-over narration, or step-by-step guidance not performed by you;
- uses synthetic avatars, deepfakes, voice clones, or other AI-generated representations of the Host or any person;
- is taught by an AI-generated persona, character, or assistant rather than a real, identifiable human;
- is a resale, repackaging, or re-recording of AI-generated educational content that you did not personally create; or
- includes AI-generated or fabricated Boasts, reviews, testimonials, or user-generated content.
17.3Permitted use of AI tools (Green Zone)
You may use AI tools to assist with the production and promotion of your Workshop, including:
- generating draft Workshop titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata;
- auto-chaptering, transcription, and captioning of your own original footage;
- basic audio and video editing;
- summarising reviews and generating promotional templates; and
- any AI tools provided within the MingleIn Workshop Studio.
17.4Disclosed use of AI tools (Amber Zone)
For the following uses, you must disclose AI assistance by ticking the relevant box during upload so that Buyers see an “AI-assisted” indicator on the Workshop page:
- AI-generated thumbnails or promotional imagery derived from your own footage;
- AI captioning or translation into languages you do not speak;
- AI-assisted editing that materially alters the pacing or structure of the Workshop.
17.5Host Declaration
At the time of uploading each Workshop, you will be required to confirm the following declaration:
“I am the real person teaching this Workshop. The instructional content is based on my own skills, knowledge, and experience. I have not used artificial intelligence to generate the instructional content, and I have not used synthetic voices or avatars to represent myself or any other person in this Workshop.”
Submitting a false declaration is a material breach of these Terms.
17.6Enforcement
MingleIn may, at its sole discretion:
- remove any Workshop that breaches this section;
- withhold or reverse Host Funds associated with a breaching Workshop;
- suspend or terminate Host accounts for repeated or material breaches;
- conduct random audits of uploaded content to verify compliance; and
- investigate reports submitted by the community via the in-platform flagging system.
17.7Reporting
Any User who suspects a Workshop breaches this section may report it via the in-product “Flag this Workshop” function or by emailing trust@minglein.com.au. Reports are reviewed by the MingleIn team and outcomes are communicated to the reporting User where appropriate.
18Watch Parties
18.1Definition
A Watch Party is a scheduled, invite-only group viewing of a Workshop, organised by a Buyer who already owns the Workshop (“Watch Party Organiser”) for up to ten (10) other Users invited by the Organiser.
18.2Seat purchase
Each invited User who is not already an owner of the relevant Workshop must purchase a seat at the standard Workshop price in order to attend the Watch Party. Each seat purchase grants the purchasing User a 90-day licence to the underlying Workshop from the date of seat purchase, on the same terms as any other Workshop purchase under clause 4.1.
18.3Organiser commission
The Watch Party Organiser is entitled to a commission of 5% of the gross sale price of each invited seat sold to attendees of their Watch Party. The commission is credited to the Organiser’s MingleIn Earnings at the point of seat purchase. The Organiser is not entitled to commission on their own seat or on attendees who already own the Workshop and join the Watch Party for free.
18.4Privacy of Watch Parties
Watch Parties are private. MingleIn does not publicly list, surface, or advertise any Watch Party on the Website or to any third party. Only Users invited by the Organiser can see or join a Watch Party.
18.5Cancellation and refunds
The Watch Party Organiser may cancel a scheduled Watch Party at any time before it is due to commence. Where a Watch Party is cancelled by the Organiser before commencement, MingleIn will refund the seat purchase price (less payment processing fees deducted by third-party payment platforms) to each invited User who had purchased a seat. Where a Watch Party fails to commence because the Organiser does not attend, the same refund applies.
18.6Conduct during Watch Parties
The conduct rules in clause 7 apply to all Users participating in a Watch Party. The Organiser is responsible for managing playback (start, pause, resume) during the Watch Party.
